Every time you feel in God's creatures something pleasing and attractive, do not let your attention be arrested by them alone, but, passing them by, transfer your thought to God and say: "O my God, if Thy creations are so full of beauty, delight and joy, how infinitely more full of beauty, delight and joy art Thou Thyself, Creator of all!
- Nicodemus of the Holy Mountain

You can’t get to joy by making everything perfect. You can only get there by seeing in every imperfection all that’s joy.

You had a RIPE tomato?? WOW!

We met Amy, Andy and Sparrow this weekend. What a lovely family.

My special blessing tonight is smelling a blueberry cake baking in the oven, an appreciative hubby and a comfy bed in which to plop my t-i-r-e-d body tonight!

  5. Mama Pea-
The goat story is coming soon.
Yep, we've had a few ripe tomatoes with more on the way. It's really nice getting those. Great flavor! :)
I'm glad you enjoyed meeting the family from Mason Jar Farm. They're such sweet and talented people!
Blueberry cake, husbands and beds, all very nice. :)

Judy- Those are beautiful blessings! I hope you had good news today.

Erin- That firtst milking is (I hope) coming sooner than I thought! I haven't decided if I should share now or when it happens, because you know things sometimes don't work out the way we think they will. However, I'm never one to keep good news to myself, so I bet it's sooner than later! ;)

Mama Tea- You are SO right! SMILE's are the best. :)
