Every time you feel in God's creatures something pleasing and attractive, do not let your attention be arrested by them alone, but, passing them by, transfer your thought to God and say: "O my God, if Thy creations are so full of beauty, delight and joy, how infinitely more full of beauty, delight and joy art Thou Thyself, Creator of all!

More Babies

Cupcake kidded on Thursday evening. She and her twins didn't form a very solid relationship, so this week has had many challenges. She really didn't seem to have enough milk for them and ignores them most of the time, not paying any attention to their cries and sleeping across the barn from them. It's sad to see. I'm keeping a close eye on them, and have had to do a few bottle feedings. It seems that her milk is picking up now, but I'm not positive. Her kids are a lot more lethargic than Japanzy's. I'm hoping I don't end up with full on bottle babies. I'd so much rather they were dam raised. Any way, they're adoreable! We're enjoying this adventure a lot.

  1. Wayyyy cute pictures! I love the sweaters they have on...hope you don't have to bottle feed them, but I am sure that the the "other" kids would help! :)

  3. Hovlander-
Molly made the sweaters out of some sweatshirt sleeves. I'm sure there are plenty of helpers for bottle feeding, but it seems like it's not going to be necessary (I hope).

    Judy-
Thanks, and I think they're doing better now.

  4. I don't think there is anything cuter than a baby goat. :) What an adventure you're on! I sure hope that Mama get's to lovin' her babies so they don't have to be bottle kids. Like you said...I'm sure there are plenty of helpers, but probably plenty of other things those helpers could be doing too!

  5. You're right, there are plenty of other things to do...like sleep. :) This is a lot of work! Good thing they're so adorable and it's so much fun.
It seems not that I might have bottle babies. Mama's udder was FULL this A.M. and babies were very hungry. :(
