These first three pics are of the tomato plants that froze. After all the foliage froze and I removed it, they grew suckers and are now blossoming.

The rest will have to wait until tomorrow because I can't get them to load right now. Sometimes it gets to be such a waste of time.

Every time you feel in God's creatures something pleasing and attractive, do not let your attention be arrested by them alone, but, passing them by, transfer your thought to God and say: "O my God, if Thy creations are so full of beauty, delight and joy, how infinitely more full of beauty, delight and joy art Thou Thyself, Creator of all!

I'm glad they bounced back for you! Plants are a lot hardier than we think sometimes :)
ReplyDeleteI wish there where some "you pick plant" farms near us - I use to get broccoli all the time-corn.tomatoes,beans. there is another local farm near by that has a big sign in the yard-help keep local farms and then down the road in the middle of the farm field is a another sign welcome to the site of corporate office --bla-bla-bla--I feel like crying for those people
ReplyDeleteJudy- We are in a sad state here, for sure. I hate how certain government agencies are causing people to believe that growing our own vegetables, eggs, milk and meat are somehow more dangerous to our health when the opposite is true. It's taking the credibility away from so many fine farmers. That and the fact that they just can't compete with chain store prices.
