Three of the kids and I took a little hike up to Sweethearts Bluff yesterday while the fourth was at swimming lessons. It was great fun! The kids found June berries and stuffed themselves like little bear cubs. By the time we left some of the mist had burned off and we could see town through what remained. This was our second hike up to the bluff in a week for Dani and I. We hiked it when the oldest two were at camp. We'll definitely be going up again with Dan and a picnic lunch when we can. Hopefully next time will be as good as the first, when we were able to view the Hjordis on the Lake and the sea plane taking off and landing. Wouldn't ya know I forgot the camera that time! ;)
The dear ones on a search for more June Berries.
The little one found an inch worm on the hike, and let it go in the middle of this ferry ring. It was a great day, and a fun celebration of the return of our intrepid campers! I think we missed them more than they missed us. They did love camp! We're thanking God for the fun they had, and for their safe return!
